Local Service Since 2013
We started Dayton PC Repair as a small family operation back in 2013. Over the last 12+ years in business, we have seen technology change from bulky desktop towers to ultra-thin MacBook Pro Retina models and high-performance Surface Laptops. While the hardware evolves, our commitment to the Centerville community remains exactly the same. We aren’t a massive corporation or a distant call center. You are walking into a shop where we actually know our neighbors by name.
We operate out of our storefront at 264 N. Main Street, Suite C, Centerville, OH 45459. Because we live and work in this area, we understand how much you rely on your devices for school, remote work, and staying connected with family. If your Dell XPS 13 won’t boot or your HP Pavilion 15 is running hot, you can bring it directly to us. We handle every device with the same care we would give our own family members.
Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm. We stay closed on Saturdays and Sundays so that our technicians can spend time with their own families.
Our Repair Philosophy and Standards
When you bring a device to our bench, we don’t start guessing. We use specific diagnostic steps to find the root cause of your problem before we ever suggest a fix. For example, if a laptop is running slowly, we check the SMART data on your NVMe SSD or look through the Windows Event Viewer to see if a driver is crashing. If you are seeing blue screens, we might run an ipconfig /flushdns command or check for failing RAM modules. We prefer to show you exactly what is wrong rather than just telling you it’s broken.
We provide a free diagnostic before any work begins on your machine. This means you will never receive a surprise bill for labor that didn’t result in a fix. After we identify the issue, we explain the repair process and the cost clearly. You stay in total control of whether or not we proceed with the service.
Every single repair we perform comes with a 90-day workmanship warranty. We stand behind our technical skills because we know that a properly repaired computer should work reliably for a long time. If a component we installed fails within those three months, we will make it right. This isn’t about making a quick sale; it is about building a reputation that lasts decades.
We treat every piece of hardware with respect. Whether you have a ThinkPad T-series used for heavy office work or a gaming rig with a custom GPU die and a complex vapor chamber cooling system, we have the tools to handle it. We don’t believe in “parts swapping” just to see what works. We aim for a precise, surgical approach to every repair.
Serving Our Neighbors Across the Miami Valley
Our service area extends well beyond our Centerville storefront. We regularly help customers from Kettering, Dayton, and Beavercreek who need reliable tech support. Many of our clients travel from Springboro or Bellbrook because they want a technician who treats them with honesty. We also serve residents in Oakwood, West Carrollton, Miamisburg, Huber Heights, and the Fairborn area near Wright-Patt.
You might be wondering if your specific problem is worth a trip to Main Street. Most of our work involves common but frustrating issues that prevent you from getting things done. We fix cracked screens on mobile devices, replace worn-out laptop hinges, and resolve software corruption that makes your PC feel sluggish. If your battery won’t hold a charge or your keyboard has a dead ribbon cable, we can usually get you back up and running quickly.
We know that losing access to your computer feels like losing a limb in this digital age. It halts your productivity and disrupts your daily routine. That is why we prioritize clear communication throughout the entire repair lifecycle. You will always know where your device stands in our queue.
The Value of a Family-Owned Shop
Choosing a local, family-owned shop means you are supporting the local economy. When you visit us at 264 N. Main Street, your money stays right here in the Centerville area. We aren’t trying to hit quarterly quotas for shareholders or satisfy distant corporate managers. Our only goal is to provide high-quality repair services that keep our neighbors coming back.
We have spent over a decade refining our process so that we can work efficiently without cutting corners. A typical repair might take 1-3 business days depending on the complexity and parts availability. We don’t promise instant miracles because we refuse to rush through delicate tasks like cleaning a liquid-damaged logic board or reseating a microscopic component. Quality takes time, and we believe our customers value that precision more than a rushed, faulty job.
If you have questions about a specific repair or just want to see if we can help with an old device, give us a call at (937) 660-4819. We are happy to talk through your symptoms over the phone before you make the drive.
Stop by our Centerville location during our weekday hours to get started.
